| Bio: | My name is Cisco. I am a 30 year old mommy to 2 beautiful children. My son Julian turned 9 on December 1, and my daughter Madyson will be 6 on July 25. Both of my kids were born at home with the assistance of midwives (the same ones for both births). In many ways, I practice attachment parenting, but only because it feels right to me. I have never read anything about it, and I hold some beliefs that go against it. I have been married for 10 years to my high school sweetheart ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} stormchaser_d20 and I hope to remain so for another 50 (give or take a few). We are for the most part happy, and I only complain about him sometimes.I am currently working at my kid's school as a full inclusion aid. Julian is in third grade, and Madyson is in Kindergarten. My ultimate goal is to go back to school and become a midwife, but that is years off, after the kids are in school full time. I think that birth is the most beautiful thing in the world, and the way that doctors and hospitals handle it frightens me. I read a lot of birth stories, and am often amazed at the audacity of doctors, nurses, and anesthesiologists. I want to do something in my life that makes a difference and that makes me happy.
